7 exams left this week; spring break - england!
this week is mock exam week! i took 4 already, but have 7 more until they’re all done :) the only thing is, these are MOCK exams and the real igcse cambridge exams will be shortly after spring break finishes! but it’s okay because the igcses are spread out over a period of 6 weeks or something like that. mock exams are the only exams that are all huddled together in one week ;p
so for spring break this year i’ll be joining my friends minjee and afsheen in england! we’ll meet up with other friends as well, since they live/are visiting england over break too :) it’s gonna be so much fun, but i wish debby could come too! i’ll post pictures and stuff after break is over… i wish my camera worked :( i’ll get pictures from afsheen or minjee then. anyway, i have to study now… i’ll write again after break is over! bye!

the last drama performance :’(
tonight was the last official drama performance for half of level 2! the other half is going to perform tomorrow night. it was a devised piece (so we made it ourselves) and it was about 15 minutes long. it’s going to be sent to cambridge at the end of the year…!
i was extremely proud of my group as well as the level 1 group who performed after us :) i think everyone did a really great job!
in other news, break is in 10 days and i’m going home for this one. should be home until around the 6th of january and then i won’t come back for another 6 and some months! that’ll be the longest i’ve been away from home i think… but it’ll be cool ;D
anyway, it’s lights out now so i gotta go ;p i’ll write again soon ahah :D
prague trip! the christmas market in prague was open yesterday so my school went :) it was fun in the old town which we stayed at for several hours and then we had to go to the mall, which wasn’t so fun ;p the mall was really big though (5 stories) so people who liked shopping had a good time there xD

so i realize that about 2 weeks ago i was supposed to have put up some pictures and a blog post about bulgaria and greece, but i really haven’t had very much time. i do right now though, so i’ll type a little bit about what i thought of them and what’s going on right now as well :)
i liked bulgaria and greece quite a bit… the only complaint i have really is that in greece there are SO many stray animals. i heard lots of sounds coming from cats and dogs that i never wanted to hear and saw a dog with some type of bloody growth on his face. it looked and sounded really terrible. besides that though i thought both countries were really nice. the friend i stayed with listens to a lot of bulgarian music so i guess that made me feel like i was immersed more into the culture? i dunno xD it was really fun though.
now though i’ve got a lot of work to do. we have some exams coming up in a few weeks (they aren’t the igcse’s… more like the mock ones, but they still count for something) so i’ve been studying quite a bit. i also got on the yearbook team which is pretty cool :DD aaand let’s see… my class had class dinner last night at the indian! it was super good and spicy, but i guess that’s it. i’ll try to write soon but you never know what may happen ;p
fall break: bulgaria and greece
arrived in bulgaria last night and been walking around sofia all day… taking a couple hours to take a nap and then getting back to business xD i’ve seen some cool stuff already but i won’t put up any pictures until i get back to townshend (next sunday). i’m going to greece on tuesday which i’m also reeeally excited about :D
guess that’s it for now… super tired xD i’ll post again soon!

by the way, internet REALLY isn’t working so i won’t be posting as often ;/
so today was pretty interesting! the school split up into a couple groups—one group went to prague and the other cesky krumlov. i was in the group that went to prague. it was pretty awesome :D we took the train and when we got there we went to a communist museum (some of the stuff that was there are shown in the pictures) to learn more about communism and the ussr. there were lots of artifacts (not sure if they were real…probably not) and statues of people there. that was pretty awesome.
after that we went to a blind museum. basically what happened there was that the museum was in complete darkness (like so dark your eyes can’t even adjust to it) to see what it’s like for blind people. we used our hearing and feeling senses to find our way around. that was really interesting and sad at the same time ;/ did you know there are different languages in braille? i thought that was cool… and confusing xD
tomorrow camp starts! it’s going to be tomorrow through friday :) that should be really fun. i know i didn’t post much about camp last year so i’ll post some stuff about this year’s camp for sure :D

well i haven’t posted for a few weeks so i guess i’ll update you :D
everything has been going pretty well! my class is awesome as always and academics aren’t bad at all. today my friend maria visited hluboka so nikoleta, colin and i went to meet up with her and her friend :) it was really fun.
next week is a pretty short week ;p 1 day of school (monday), a class trip to prague (tuesday), and camp (wednesday through friday). it’s gonna be really fun :D we’re going to a communist museum in prague for history purposes and camp should be pretty awesome.
the week after next week is going to be kind of hectic for level 2 drama students though because we have our first performances for our IGCSE exams! (look it up if you don’t know what IGCSE means ;p it’s pretty important.) everyone is performing a monologue and i think 3 or 4 sets of people are going to perform duologues (i’m one of the people doing both). it should be awesome because i like to think i’m good in drama and plus i like performing. just pushing away the knowledge that it’s for an exam… xD
anyway, i don’t really think much else is going on. i’ll post again sometime soon :)
whenever amazing stuff like this happens i can’t help but feel that wonderful reminder that i’m alive :D
